Feedback is stored in your browser.
Feedback items and drafts stay in Chrome storage. Trello receives an item only when you choose to create a card.
On your device
Saved in Chrome
- Feedback items, projects, and drafts use Chrome extension storage
- No FeedbackFlow account or hosted backend is required
- Page content is read after you start a capture action
- Data stays in Chrome until you delete it or remove the extension
Optional connection
Sent to Trello when you choose
- Trello is optional; credentials stay in Chrome session storage
- FeedbackFlow contacts Trello to load your boards and lists
- Create card in Trello sends the selected item and its screenshot, if present
- The extension sends these requests directly to Trello over HTTPS
